How do I know if I actually need treatment?

You may not. Symptoms like fatigue and low mood have many causes, and a single low reading is not a diagnosis. That is what the free introductory consultation and the £50 screening test are for — to establish whether this is worth investigating further before you spend anything more.

What does it cost to get started?

Beginning treatment is £269 in total, and that figure includes the £50 screening blood test you have already paid — so £219 is what remains. It is paid in two stages: £119 at the appointment where you are assessed and prescribed, and £100 at your six-week review six weeks later. Medication is charged separately when it is dispensed.

Is medication included in those prices?

No — and that is deliberate. Medication is charged only when it is dispensed, from £89 depending on which option your doctor recommends, so you pay nothing in the months you do not need a repeat. The full price list sets out what each option costs and what you would have paid by the day you start.

Are blood tests really included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every consultation fee that requires a blood panel includes it — a 62-marker baseline panel that sells on its own for £164, and a 35-marker monitoring panel that sells for £118.40. Your six-week review costs less than its blood panel would cost you alone. If your doctor wants to recheck something between scheduled reviews, an extra panel is charged at a reduced rate for existing patients — from £85. You will always be told what it costs before it is booked.

Is this a lifelong commitment?

For many men it is a long-term therapy, and we will say so plainly at your first consultation. There is no contract and no subscription. If you decide to stop, we will support you through that safely.

Question 6

I am already on treatment elsewhere. Can I move to you?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A transfer consultation is £99 and includes a full review of your current therapy in person. If your recent results are current and complete, that is all you pay; if we need to repeat them, the consultation with a full 62-marker panel is £229 — £34 less than buying the two separately. Send us your results before you book and we will tell you which applies.
